By Air: The closest airport is Bagdogra (IXB), approximately 65 KMS away. The drive to Sitong takes about 2. 5 to 3 hours. Since Sitong is remote, you must hire a private taxi, and it is crucial that the driver is familiar with the Sitong route, which branches off near Ghoom or along the lower Kurseong road.

By Train: New Jalpaiguri (NJP) railway station, about 70 KMS distant, is the nearest major rail link. A private taxi is the only reliable way to cover the distance. Ensure the driver takes the appropriate lower road route to avoid unnecessary climbing up to Kurseong town.

By Road: Sitong is remote and best accessed via the Pankhabari road or the road that goes through Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary towards Ghoom, branching off near some of the major tea estates. The road is scenic but often narrow and sometimes unpaved in sections, requiring a sturdy vehicle like a Jeep or SUV.

By Local Transport: Shared transport directly to Sitong is very limited, primarily operating early in the morning from Kurseong or Siliguri. It is highly recommended to pre-book a dedicated vehicle for the entire round trip from Kurseong town center for convenience and time management.
