By Train:Nearest major railway station is Jammu Tawi (JAT). Travel to Srinagar by road or rail, then proceed to the Sonamarg base camp.
By Road:From Srinagar, take a taxi or bus to Sonamarg. Local Transport must be arranged from Sonamarg for the drop-off at the Shitkadi base. The rest of the journey is a strenuous, multi-day trek on foot.
