Kangla Nongpok Torban
Kangla Nongpok Torban is a beautifully developed riverside recreation area located on the eastern bank of the Imphal River. It serves as a modern green lung for the city, stretching about 700 meters from the Sanjenthong Bridge to the Nongpok Thong. Developed under the Imphal Smart City project, thi s park combines historical proximity with modern amenities. It offers a scenic view of the river and the historic walls of the Kangla Fort. The area is popular among locals for morning walks, jogging, and evening relaxation. It features wide walking tracks, cycling paths, and an open-air gym. The park is beautifully lit at night, making it a safe and pleasant spot for families. It also includes a food plaza and a stage for cultural performances.
