Lianchhiari Lunglen Tlang
Lianchhiari Lunglen Tlang is perhaps the most romantic and melancholic spot in all of Mizoram. It is a rocky ledge that juts out precariously from a high cliff, overlooking the majestic mountains. The site is named after Lianchhiari, the beautiful daughter of a legendary chief, who used to sit on t his ledge and gaze at the distant village of her lover, Chawngfianga, after he was forced to leave. Her story is one of heartbreak and undying devotion, and the site has become a symbol of Mizo romanticism. The view from the ledge is absolutely staggering, offering a panoramic vista of the rolling hills that stretch into Myanmar.
