Lianchhiari Lunglen Tlang is perhaps the most romantic and melancholic spot in all of Mizoram. It is a rocky ledge that juts out precariously from a high cliff, overlooking the majestic mountains. The site is named after Lianchhiari, the beautiful daughter of a legendary chief, who used to sit on t his ledge and gaze at the distant village of her lover, Chawngfianga, after he was forced to leave.
