Wallardie Mountain View Point

Thekkady, Kerala, India
This is a lesser-known but stunning viewpoint located near the Wallardie estate. It offers a panoramic 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The point is famous for its breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. From here, you can see the vast stretches of tea gardens and the distant hi lls of Tamil Nadu. The area is very quiet and peaceful compared to the main tourist spots in Thekkady. It is a perfect place for those who want to escape the crowd. The trek to the top is relatively easy and passes through spice plantations. You can feel the cool breeze hitting your face as you stand on the edge of the cliff. It is a favorite spot for local hikers and adventure seekers. The view of the Periyar River winding through the valley is visible on clear days. It is truly a hidden jewel of Idukki.
