By Train: The closest major railway station is Haridwar Junction (HW), which is well-connected to all major cities in India (e. g. , Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata). From the railway station (approx 4-5 KMS away), take a local auto-rickshaw or taxi to Chandighat.
By Road: Chandighat is easily accessible by road, situated on the main Nazibabad Road. You can drive your own vehicle or take a private taxi to the base station. Haridwar is well-connected by National Highways (NH 34, NH 7) to Delhi (~215 KMS), Dehradun (~55 KMS), and Rishikesh (~30 KMS).
By Local Transport: The most popular and recommended way to reach the temple base (Chandighat) is by taking a local auto-rickshaw or a shared Vikram (large auto-rickshaw) from any part of Haridwar city. From the base, you must take the Udankhatola (ropeway) or trek up the 3 KM route to the temple on the Neel Parvat. (Approx. )
