180 KMS): The nearest airport is Madurai International Airport (IXM). From Madurai, hire a taxi or take a bus to Rameswaram. From Rameswaram city, Kunthu Kal Beach is accessible via local road transport.
By Train: The nearest major station is Rameswaram Railway Station (RMM). From the station, the beach is about 16 KMS. Hire a private taxi or an auto-rickshaw. It is advisable to negotiate the fare for a two-way trip with waiting time.
By Road (From Rameswaram City): Kunthu Kal Beach is well-connected by local roads. One can take a local government bus (Route No. 6, frequency is limited, check timings locally) from the Rameswaram bus stand or hire a taxi/auto-rickshaw. It’s located on the road leading towards Pamban village.
By Local Transport: Government buses are the most economical option. Auto-rickshaws and taxis are readily available. Shared auto-rickshaws (less common than in the main town) or two-wheelers on rent can also be used for the approximately 12 KMS distance from the city center, offering flexibility to stop for views.
