By Local Transport (Specific Access): Once in Joshimath, the archway is easily reached. As it is only about 1 KM from the city center, a short 5-minute ride in a local taxi or autorickshaw will take you there, or it can be reached via a 15-20 minute walk from the main town center or Narsingh Temple area, simply by following the main road leading eastward. If traveling by car, ensure you have a safe place to pull over briefly to stop and take photos near the archway. :
