By Train: Nearest main station is Tiruvannamalai (TNM) (approx. 50 km), but a closer, smaller station is Polur (PRL) (approx. 15 km). From either station, take a bus or hired taxi.
By Road: Tirumalai is located off the Polur-Vandavasi Road. It is accessible by state buses from Tiruvannamalai, Polur, and Arani. Hiring a private taxi is the most convenient way to reach the village.
By Local Transport: From Polur or Arani, local auto-rickshaws or shared taxis can be hired for the final leg of the journey, but negotiate the round-trip fare beforehand due to the remote location.
