By Train: The major railhead is New Jalpaiguri (NJP).
Rail Arrival and Direct Road Access: The distance is about 77 KMS. Take a reserved or shared taxi from NJP towards Kalimpong. The viewpoint is a well-known marker along this primary route. Ensure your driver is informed that you wish to stop here, as it is a standard, recognizable location for all local hill drivers.
By Road: The viewpoint lies directly on the main arterial highway connecting Teesta Bazar and Kalimpong town.
Main Highway Route and Steeper Gradient Awareness: Road access is direct and paved. If driving from Kalimpong, the viewpoint is a scenic stop during your decent. If ascending, it provides a much-needed break from the continuous climb. Always use designated pullover spots and be wary of fast-moving traffic.
By Local Transport: Local jeeps and taxis on the Kalimpong to Teesta Bazar route pass by frequently.
Dedicated Taxi Hire for Viewing Time: For the flexibility to stop and spend time, it is recommended to hire a dedicated local cab or include it in a sightseeing package rather than relying on shared jeeps, which may not stop for prolonged viewing.
