By Air (Flight): The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport (DED), Dehradun (273 KMS to Joshimath). Take a cab/bus to Joshimath.

By Train (Rail): Nearest railheads are Rishikesh (256 KMS) or Dehradun (294 KMS). Take a bus/taxi to Joshimath.

By Road (Joshimath to Auli): Reach Joshimath via NH-7. From Joshimath, take the Auli Cable Car (4. 15 KMS) or a local taxi on the 16 KMS winding road to Auli.

By Local Transport (Trek): The final distance from the Auli resort area requires a trek of a few kilometers. Hire a local guide in Auli or ask for directions from the GMVN complex, as the path is a rough, unpaved trail through the meadows. (~)
