Packing: Due to the remote location, do not expect any shops near the temple; pack all essentials from Joshimath or Auli. Carry a portable power bank, as mobile charging points are nonexistent on the trail.

Accommodation: Staying in Auli or Joshimath is highly recommended. The temple area does not have any commercial accommodation. Auli offers GMVN properties and private resorts.
