By Train: The nearest major rail head is Pune Railway Station (Pune Junction - PUNE), which is about 16 KMS away. From the station, you must hire a taxi or auto-rickshaw (app-based preferred) as local train service does not extend this far. The journey takes about 45-60 minutes. By Road (Bus/Car) The dam is easily accessible via Sinhagad Road (NH 48). This is the most common way to reach it. Driving your own vehicle or hiring a cab offers the most flexibility for stopping and enjoying the views. Paid parking is available near the site. By Local Transport (Bus/App-based Cabs) Numerous PMPML city buses run from central Pune (like Swargate) towards Khadakwasla and the NDA area. App-based taxis are widely used for the direct route.
