How to Reach

By Air: The newly opened Deoghar Airport has made the region very accessible. Regular flights connect it to major cities like Delhi and Kolkata. From the airport, taxis and buses are easily available to reach the town.

By Train: Jasidih Junction is the main railway station serving the region, located on the main Delhi-Howrah line. Almost all major express trains stop here. It is just a short drive from the main temple town of Deoghar.

By Road: The region is well-connected by National Highway 19. Regular bus services are available from Ranchi, Patna, and Kolkata. The road journey offers a glimpse of the changing landscapes of the eastern plains.

By Local Transport: Auto-rickshaws and e-rickshaws are the most popular modes of local travel. They are cheap and readily available at every corner. For visiting nearby hills or villages, hiring a full-day taxi is a better option.
