By Air: Imphal International Airport is just 30 KMS away from the town. You can take a direct taxi from the airport which takes about 45 minutes.

By Train: The nearest railhead is Dimapur (230 KMS), but Imphal railway station is closer for local links. Shared taxis and buses are easily available from the capital city.

By Road: NH 102 (formerly NH 39) passes directly through the heart of the town. This highway connects it to Imphal in the north and Moreh in the south.

By Local Transport: Shared autos and mini-buses are the most common ways to move around. For visiting the war memorial, hiring a private auto-rickshaw is very convenient.
