How to Reach

By Air: The nearest airport is Imphal (84 KMS), with regular flights from Kolkata and Delhi. From the airport, a 3-hour taxi ride will take you through scenic winding roads.

By Train: No direct train; the nearest major station is Dimapur in Nagaland (215 KMS). You can also take a train to Jiribam and then proceed by road to Imphal first.

By Road: NH 150 connects Ukhrul to Imphal and further to Kohima via Jessami. The road is hilly and offers beautiful views but can be bumpy in some sections.

By Local Transport: Shared taxis and "Sumos" are the lifeline for transport between villages. Within the town, walking is the best way to explore the local markets and cafes.
