Ngadak Chorling Monastery
Ngadak Chorling Monastery, also known as the Ngadak Gumpa, is one of the most significant spiritual centers in the historical town of Yuksom. It belongs to the Nyingmapa sect of Tibetan Buddhism, which is the oldest of the four major schools. The monastery is deeply tied to the history of Sikkim's first capital. It was established to serve the spiritual needs of the local community and the royal family.
