How to Reach

By Air: Fly to Imphal International Airport and then hire a private SUV for the 3-hour journey to the Chandel district headquarters.

By Train: No direct rail connection; the nearest station is Dimapur, from where you must travel by road via Imphal to reach Chandel.

By Road: The district is served by the NH-102. Shared taxis (Sumos) and buses run daily from Imphal to Chandel and Moreh towns.

By Local Transport: Within Moreh, auto-rickshaws are common, but in the hills, hiring a dedicated 4WD vehicle is essential for rough terrain.
