How To Reach Narmada Kaveri Sangam

Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh, India
Sacred Synergy:The Narmada Kaveri Sangam is a highly auspicious site as it is the meeting point of the two sacred rivers, Narmada and Kaveri (the tributary that encircles Mandhata Island, not the southern river).: Mythological Merit:Bathing at this Sangam is believed to be exceptionally merit-giving , equivalent to bathing at the great Prayagraj Sangam (Ganga-Yamuna-Saraswati) in the north, as praised in the Kurma and Matsya Puranas. The sheer tranquil beauty of the confluence, where the different colors and currents of the two rivers meet, is a major draw. It is a peaceful, nature-centric contrast to the bustling temple town, essential for completing the full Omkareshwar spiritual circuit.
