Dimension and Structure: The temple complex is enclosed by a massive laterite compound wall measuring 160m x 142m. The central tower (Vimana) is a Rekha Deula rising 55 meters (180 ft).
It is built axially with four components: Vimana (Sanctum), Jagamohana (Assembly Hall), Nata Mandira (Festival Hall), and Bhoga-Mandapa (Hall of Offerings), each progressively taller. The stone used is primarily Khondalite. Its walls are extensively and intricately carved with deities, human figures, and mythological scenes. -
