Modern Additions: A large ornate gateway has been recently constructed at the entrance on Lalganj Road. The temple walls feature relief carvings of various forms of Goddess Shakti. A large open courtyard is provided for the thousands of devotees who gather during the annual fair. The use of traditional bricks and lime mortar in the older sections hints at its ancient origins, while the newer sections use modern tiles and RCC.
