By Air: The nearest airport is Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata, about 145 KMS away. One can hire a taxi or take a bus from the airport.

By Train: Bishnupur Railway Station is well-connected to Howrah and Sealdah. Popular trains include the Rupashi Bangla Express and Aranyak Express. From the station, take a Toto or Rickshaw for 2 KMS.

By Road: Bishnupur is well-connected by NH-60. Regular buses ply from Kolkata, Durgapur, and Bankura.

By Local Transport: Totos (electric rickshaws) are the most convenient way to reach the gate from anywhere in town.
