By Air:

From CCU, the most convenient onward journey is by rail or road. Taxis can be hired to complete the 4-5 hour journey directly to Bishnupur. The proximity of Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport (RDP) in Durgapur (100 KM) offers another, albeit less busy, domestic option, requiring a final leg by taxi or local bus to Bishnupur.

By Train:

Direct Rail Connectivity: The train is the preferred mode of transport, with Bishnupur Junction (VSU) offering excellent connections to Kolkata (Howrah/Shalimar).
